Our Story

At Ohana Ragdolls, we believe family isn’t just something you’re born into—it’s something you choose, nurture, and carry with you wherever life takes you. Our family is a big, loud, loving mix of Hawaiian and Asian roots, born and raised on the beautiful island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. Growing up, we learned that ʻohana means so much more than family by blood. Everyone was family. Your neighbors became aunties and uncles, your friends became brothers and sisters, and every home welcomed you with open arms. That sense of love, belonging, and community became the heart of who we are.

Ohana Ragdolls was founded on those same values.

Every kitten is welcomed into our family from the very beginning. They are raised in our home, surrounded by love, gentle hands, and everyday family life. We celebrate their first milestones, learn each unique little personality, and pour our hearts into helping them become confident, affectionate companions.

And when it’s time for one of our babies to leave for their forever home, we don’t say goodbye—we simply watch our family grow.

Every family who adopts from Ohana Ragdolls becomes part of our extended ʻohana. We love watching our kittens grow, celebrating birthdays and milestones, receiving photos years later, and staying connected long after adoption day. Once an Ohana kitten, always an Ohana kitten.

To us, this has never been “just breeding cats.” It’s about creating lifelong bonds, sharing unconditional love, and bringing a little piece of Hawaiʻi into homes across the country.

Our greatest hope is that when one of our Ragdolls curls up beside you, follows you from room to room, or greets you at the door after a long day, you’ll feel exactly what we’ve always known growing up in Hawaiʻi:
